Andersen assisted Azzurra Capital in the acquisition of Desa S.p.A.

The professionals at Andersen assisted the private equity fund Azzurra Capital in the tax and legal aspects of an acquisition transaction involving the purchase of a 30% stake in the Desa group of Seregno, a company specialized in the production of household care products, including the well-known Chanteclair brand.

For the Luxembourg-based fund with offices in Milan, London, and Dubai, this marks its first investment in Italy.

Andersen acted as the tax advisor for Azzurra Capital, with a diverse team led by partners Maricla Pennesi (head of tax in both Italy and Europe) and Marcello Rabbia (international contact partner), coordinated by partner Alberto Trainotti. Partner Giovanni Gallucci contributed to handling the deal’s structuring aspects. Partner Davide Centurelli and director Letizia Carrara were involved in the due diligence activities.

The legal aspects of the operation were managed by the lawyers from Greenberg Traurig Santa Maria.
