Andersen in Italy appointed exclusive legal advisor for the Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup
Andersen in Italy earnt the tender to become the official provider of legal and tax services for the upcoming 38th edition of the America’s Cup, which will take place in Naples in 2027.
The multi-year engagement will support the organization from the preparatory phases through to the conclusion of the event in summer 2027 and will involve the departments of International Tax, Sports Law, Transfer Pricing, VAT, Litigation, Corporate Tax and Legal, Employment & Labor, Public Law, and Global Mobility, coordinated by the firm’s partners Paolo Trevisanato and Andrea Ferrandi.
The America’s Cup is the world’s oldest international sporting trophy, established in 1851, and represents the peak of sailing competition globally. Each edition, captures the attention of millions of global fans and major commercial sponsors. The 2024 Barcelona edition – exclusively supported by Andersen in Spain for legal matters – generated an economic impact exceeding one billion euros and reached 954 million viewers worldwide.
