Andersen assists Nobil Metal S.p.A in the establishment of Open Tech 3D

The lawyers Andrea Ferrandi, Partner, and Nicole Frigo, Associate Partner, professionals of Andersen in Italy, assisted Nobil Metal S.p.A. during the establishment of Open Tech 3D s.r.l. and during the negotiation of the contract for the sale of the dental branch of Open Technologies s.r.l. as well as all related contracts (from the customer service agreement to the R&D agreement).

Nobil Metal S.p.A. is an Italian company specialized in the production and marketing of materials for the dental sector. From the other side, Open Technologies is owned by the American company FARO Technologies Inc., a world leader in 3D measurement, imaging and realization solutions for 3D Metrology, AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) and Public Safety Analytics.

Open Tech 3D is 49% owned by Nobil Metal, a long-established partner of Open Technologies and with which it has developed and marketed various products. The establishment of the newco has strengthened the synergy for the creation of a global approach in the proposal of products and solutions for the dental market, and, in particular, for dentistry and dental technology. For the next 12 months, Open Technologies will continue to support the Open Tech 3D with its know-how in R&D.
