Definition of the figure of the intermediary

Andrea Frangipane, Andersen Partner and lawyer, assisted with his team the process that took place at the Court of Appeal of L’Aquila for the definition of the figure of the intermediary.

The thesis supported by Andrea Frangipane brought back the figure of the business agent to that of the intermediary, while the counterpart claimed that the figure of the business agent was comparable to that of the commercial agent, thus proposing, therefore, the right to commission even in the absence of registration in special registers.

With sentence no. 879 of 22 June 2020, the Court of Appeal confirm the thesis supported by Andrea Frangipane, namely the nullity of the contract itself, or, in any case, the loss of the right to commission, for the intermediary.
