Andersen for the protection and enhancement of family assets

Andersen and BPER together with Palazzo Zabarella

Palazzo Zabarella is the setting for the meeting that BPER Banca and Andersen organize on February 19 in Padua on the theme of trust in art.

The event

This legal instrument, presented by the head of Trust Company BPER, Angelo Taffurelli, and by the CEO Andersen, Andrea De Vecchi, is in fact one of the institutions that best support the processes of management of family assets, in particular during the transmission of the works of art to their descendants.

Private artistic collections can thus be protected with the trust and managed by a manager – the trustee, who becomes the only trustee owner – according to the purpose indicated in the founding act (which can also have purposes of conservation and enhancement of the artistic heritage). The works of art thus safeguarded can also be made available to museums and galleries.

The brief presentation of this tool by BPER Banca and Andersen precedes a guided tour of the exhibition Van Gogh, Monet, Degas – The Mellon Collection of French Art from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, hosted by Palazzo Zabarella until the first of March.

The event will end with an aperitif in the historic Caffè Pedrocchi in Padua, the scene of intense moments in the history of the city and beyond, including the injury of a university student on February 8, 1848, which started the Italian Risorgimento uprisings.
