Andersen collaborates in the birth of SOS SCUOLE, the emergency management tool for educational institutions
Andersen's professionals alongside the companies Invisiblefarm Srl and Ibea Srl in the structuring of the start-up designed to monitor the health of children and reduce the responsibility of school staff in case of health alarms
SOS SCUOLE is the app that with an audible alert or a direct call to 112 is able to speed up the rescue time for children and teenagers who have an illness during class hours.
Andersen has assisted Invisiblefarm Srl and Ibea Srl in the definition phase of the structural project of the start-up by providing its advice to better prepare the contractual and corporate dynamics in view of the launch of the app on the market.
The activity, coordinated by lawyer Andrea Ferrandi, head of the Brescia office, together with lawyer Carlo Riso, took place mainly remotely, during the lockdown period.
The platform www.sosscuole.it and the SOS SCUOLE app are an integrated support system for the control and management of internal first aid emergencies in schools. A tool that allows rapid and efficient communication to the intervention team, both internal – which can immediately intervene with basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation with the use of an AED – and external.
Already presented to the Regional Emergency Emergency AREU, the system aims to speed up the rescue to save the lives of children and alleviate the responsibility of the manager and school staff by activating the procedure safely (consider that, to date, the practice provides for 2 pupils to leave the class looking for a school employee who, in turn, will track down the first aid officer).
Each step will be shared to facilitate a possible reorganization of the staff, such as the replacement of employees in case they accompany the student to the hospital. The school manager and the staff will always know what happens, even in the case of several facilities of the school.
