The 2018 of Andersen opens up in the name of growth
Andersen Italy opens 2018 in the name of the growth of the team with the entry of three new professionals in the prestigious Milan office in Corso Magenta 82, inaugurated in December.
Andersen strengthens the Italian legal team with the entry in late 2017 of Professor Valentina Piccinini with the status of Partner.
Piccinini, Associate Professor of Civil Law at the Department of Law of the University of Milan Bicocca and since 2007 owner of various courses in the Master Degree Program of Law at the Department of Law of Università degli Studi di Milano – Bicocca: Civil Law, Inheritance Law and Family Law, has accrued a consolidated experience in the area of corporate crisis law, banking law, financial and insurance intermediaries, family law and succession law, civil liability law and privacy protection law.
She deals with the protection of family assets, even in the phase of generational and succession, for the benefit of individuals or groups, through the establishment, administration or dissolution of institutions such as assets, trusts, deeds of destination, family pacts.
Lawyer specializing in the law of the web, she supports companies and offers legal assistance on all legal aspects related to Internet issues, such as the responsibilities of the provider. In the privacy field, deals with the protection of personal data, the responsibilities arising from their management and compensation for spamming and illegitimate treatment. He then deals with issues related to the transfer inter vivos and mortis causa of digital goods.
In extrajudicial field, she works on restructuring, bankruptcy and banking law, contracts, legal assistance to business, Financial institute and common funds, legal advice in general.
In judicial matters, she deals with civil litigation, banking litigation (in particular: factoring, derivative contracts, matters of usury, anatocismo, transparency) bankrupt (in particular, bankruptcy claw backs) and arbitration.
Another new entry among Andersen’s professionals in the Milan office is Filippo Alliney, Of Counsel, with proven professional experience in the field of corporate governance, administrative responsibility of institutions and company organizational systems.
Alliney provides domestic and international banks and financial institutions and other business organizations with a clear perception of the Italy related risk, significantly in the financial crime space, i.e. money laundering, sanctions, market abuse, bribery and fraud.
Moreover, he provides specific support on identifying crimes, compliance and reputational risk areas, mapping gaps and setting remediation projects and plans such as control enhancement, drafting policies and procedures, designing and implementing training programs.
He is member of Corporate Defense Surveillance Body (in Italy, Organismo di Vigilanza L.231/01) or acts as coordinator and technical support to it, the latter through case law analysis, internal investigations and forensic activities. He has also manages audit departments and is member of risk management committees.
The tax lawyer Alessandro Poli strengthens the Andersen litigation team. In force since 1 January 2018 with the role of senior manager, Poli deals with assistance, advice and representation in tax matters and is an expert in trust.
