Real Estate Valuation & Advisory: new partner Giacomo Morri leads the department
Giacomo Morri, Associate Professor of Corporate Finance & Real Estate at SDA Bocconi, joins Andersen with the objective of establishing and coordinating the new Real Estate Valuation & Advisory service line.
As part of the new Corporate Finance Advisory business unit recently established to strengthen the advisory services already present in Andersen, the Real Estate Valuation & Advisory department, entrusted to new partner Giacomo Morri, takes on particular relevance by offering advisory support in all economic and financial activities concerning real estate and real estate investment vehicles. The team also deals with real estate valuations, technical advice in litigation, fairness opinions and pro-veritate opinions, financial plans, research and structuring of financing, as well as support to clients in solving problems related to real estate.
“Giacomo’s arrival,” says Andrea De Vecchi, CEO of Andersen Italy and co-Managing Partner of the Europe area for Andersen Global, “is part of Andersen’s multidisciplinary approach, which, with the entry of Cesare Conti, has established the Corporate Finance Advisory business unit alongside the Tax and Legal business units.
Andersen thus acquires one of the top experts in the field who has considerable experience in the field. Morri, in fact, is a director in real estate companies, including UnipolSai Investimenti SGR and is on the advisory board of several reserved real estate funds. A certified public accountant and auditor, he is an expert in real estate appraisals (RICS Member and Registered Valuer) and in technical opinions in civil and criminal cases related to real estate finance.
He is also author of numerous publications on real estate finance topics, editorial board member of national and international scientific journals, past president & board member of the European Real Estate Society.
