Maria Lillà Montagnani
Maria Lillà Montagnani is Of Counsel at Andersen in Milan and Full Professor of Commercial Law at Bocconi University. She focuses on law and technology, intellectual property, data economy and artificial intelligence, with particular attention to governance, control and accountability aspects related to the use of AI in business processes.
She assists Andersen’s team on AI Governance & Compliance, with particular reference to the AI Act, the governance of artificial intelligence systems, data governance, intellectual property and the management of risks connected with the use of digital technologies in business processes.
She directs the Master of Arts in Global Law for Organizations, Business Enterprises and Institutions at Bocconi University, a two-year English-language program dedicated to regulation, governance, compliance, sustainability, artificial intelligence and data analysis. She is the author of numerous publications, in Italy and abroad, on artificial intelligence, intellectual property, digital technologies, intermediary liability and data governance.
