Cesare Conti

Head of Corporate Finance Advisory in Italy and Europe. He supports corporates, banks, private equity funds, public entities, and professional firms by providing independent advisory and fairness opinions in the areas of business valuation, M&A, certification of restructuring plans, debt advisory (acquisition financing, refinancing, and debt restructuring transactions), and financial risk management (design, restructuring, and execution of hedging strategies for interest rate and foreign exchange risk). He also acts as an independent expert in litigation matters (court-appointed expert and party-appointed expert).​

He is Professor of Corporate Finance at Bocconi University, where he served as Director of the Master of Science in Finance (2019–2022). He is responsible for courses and seminars in corporate finance, sustainable finance, business valuation, corporate governance, and financial & enterprise risk management. On these topics, he is the author and editor of articles and textbooks and a speaker at conferences and webinars.​

He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors of Unipol (since 2025), Board Member of Moncler (since 2025), where he is a member of the Risk Committee, Vice Chairman of Futura Investment, and Statutory Auditor of Angel Capital Management. Previously, among other roles, he served as Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors of De’ Longhi and UnipolSai, and as Independent Director and member of the Risk Committee of IMA S.p.A., as well as holding several corporate offices in listed and unlisted companies.​

He is a member of the Milan Register of Chartered Accountants, the Register of Statutory Auditors (where he is also qualified as a Sustainability Auditor), and the Register of Court-Appointed Experts of the Milan Court. He is a member of Nedcommunity (Italian Association of Non-Executive and Independent Directors), AIFIRM (Italian Association of Financial Industry Risk Managers), ANDAF (National Association of Chief Financial Officers), and ADEIMF (Association of Academics in Financial Intermediation, Financial Markets, and Corporate Finance).​
