Multinational company O-I Italy has entered the share capital of Sarco

The Firm assisted Sarco Srl, a thirty-years-experienced company in optimizing products derived from waste collection, with a capital increase matter aimed at O-I Italy SpA.

A team led by Francesco Inturri worked alongside O-I Italy’s in-house legal team for corporate law activities, preparing the capital increase plan and the contracts that outlined the joint project of the two companies.

Sarco produces high-quality secondary raw materials that are reusable in the glass, foundry, and steel industries. O-I Italy, the Italian branch of multinational group O-I Glass Inc., the world’s largest glass container manufacturer, has had a strategic partnership with Sarco for decades. By entering the share capital of the Sicilian company, it consolidates its presence in the territory and strengthens the partnership for the valorization of glass processing waste.

Considering the great know-how of the Sicilian company, with a view to consolidating its commitment to innovation and the circular economy, this operation gives greater value to the life cycle of permanent materials.
