Future skills: Andersen hosts the AmCham event
Andersen Milan office is hosting on the November 16th a roundtable entitled The Skills of the Future, Today organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy. The meeting is part of the activity of the Human Capital Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce, with which the leading chief HR officers of the Chamber’s member companies delve into the most important news in the world of human resources.
Speakers will analyze the skills needed to cope with today’s professional scenario, characterized by the changes brought by pandemics, geo-political crisis, technological evolution and new worker sensitivity to sustainability, mental health and inclusion. Underlying this process are the competencies identified by the Human Capital Committee and outlined during the conference.
It will also discuss how companies, both multinationals, and SMEs, can analyze the need to integrate existing skills internally and the different ways to secure the acquisition of new key competencies in their management team (either from the outside, by involving new professionals in their processes, or by building them internally, by investing resources and time in training, dynamically combining the skills of their employees and enhancing their qualities). In any case, it is essential to encourage personal knowledge transfer and foster continuous learning, so that resources know how to constantly update themselves and be able to react positively to new things.
