Carlo Gioffrè establishes new Andersen Energy Public Law practice
The arrival of new salary partner Carlo Gioffrè at Andersen marks the start of the Energy Public Law practice at Andersen. The administrative lawyer becomes the coordinator of the new department, which will support clients in energy-related proceedings, administrative law, environmental law, and waste management.
During his professional career, Gioffrè has gained solid experience in energy, public economics, infrastructure, and environmental law, expecially concerning renewable energy sources and decarbonization processes. He assists national and international entities, private equity funds, project developers, and multinational companies in transactions involving the purchase, construction, sale, and financing of power generation systems from renewable sources. In this sector, characterized by rapidly evolving regulations, he offers fundamental support in the realization of structured finance projects, and in the management of public financing in the procurement, concessions, and regulated, renewable and waste-to-energy sectors.
The addition of lawyer Gioffrè to the Andersen team comes just a week after that of lawyer Maurizio Onza, confirming the constant growth of the association’s legal departments, capable of responding adequately to market news and client expectations. “The topic of regulation is increasingly relevant and the guidance of an experienced professional will ensure that even the most complex cases are handled competently, providing a high-quality service,” said Andrea De Vecchi, CEO of Andersen and co-Managing Partner of the Europe area for Andersen Global.
