Giacomo Morri

Chartered Accountant and Statutory Auditor, RICS Member & Registered Valuer, with over twenty-five years of academic and professional experience in the real estate finance sector, advising institutional investors, real estate companies and asset management companies (SGRs).

Giacomo also serves as Associate Professor of Practice in Corporate Finance & Real Estate at SDA Bocconi and is Lecturer in Real Estate Finance at Bocconi University. At SDA Bocconi, he has served as Director of the Master in Real Estate and of the Executive Master in Corporate Finance & Banking, as well as Faculty Deputy of the Knowledge Group in Corporate Finance & Real Estate.

He acts as advisor to real estate companies and asset management companies (SGRs) and is a member of the advisory board of real estate funds reserved for institutional investors. He is the author of numerous academic and professional publications in real estate finance, serves on the editorial boards of national and international academic journals, and has been President and Board Member of the European Real Estate Society.

He assists in investor sourcing and in the structuring and execution of real estate acquisition and disposal transactions throughout the entire deal cycle, from origination to closing, with a particular focus on off-market transactions.

He provides real estate and corporate valuation services, with specific expertise in complex and high-criticality assignments requiring independence, methodological rigor and full defensibility of analyses. He frequently acts as technical expert in litigation matters involving real estate assets, investment vehicles, asset management companies and real estate finance transactions.

He is also experienced in the preparation of independent fairness opinions, particularly for asset management companies (SGRs) and in transactions characterized by potential conflicts of interest or by the need to strengthen governance safeguards.
