Andersen in Italy has been supporting the Elena Trevisanato Onlus Foundation for years, which assists and protects the health and education of people in need, particularly women and children.

Established in memory of the young Elena, the Foundation promotes, finances, and organizes educational recovery projects in Italy for foreign children with language difficulties, cultural integration programs, and, in the Third World, the construction of schools and wells to ensure access to education and drinking water.
Among others, projects in Ethiopia for primary literacy and the construction of drinking water wells in desert areas; long-distance support for children in Addis Ababa through a structure organized by Salesians and social workers; programs in Veneto for extra-curricular support for minors who have arrived in Italy as refugees.
The Foundation is guided by the Assembly of Friends of the Foundation, which approves the annual budget, and by the members of the Board of Directors. The latter is the body through which the non-profit organization operates. Composed of four members with unpaid positions, coordinated by a President, it manages the Foundation and prepares the budget, which is audited by an external auditor with an unpaid position appointed by the Assembly.
