Roberto Palea
Roberto is an expert in negotiation, tax and contractual consulting in the field of M&A, national and international taxation (especially of mutual funds and non-profit entities), as well as in strategic business consulting.
He was an independent director of ALITALIA S.p.A. from 2003 to 2004 and a member of the Board of Directors and then Statutory Auditor of OMNITEL-PRONTO ITALIA S.p.A. (O.P.I.) now VODAFONE since its incorporation until 1997; former member of the Committee of Arbitrators for the defense of Parmalat Bond holders, promoted by Gruppo Bancario San Paolo IMI since its incorporation.
He oversaw the listing and delisting of ITALDESIGN GIUGIARO.
Trustee of the French family Mulliez, he set up and followed all the companies of the AUCHAN Group in their various sectors of activity in Italy, until 2017.
Professor of Economic Policy from 1962 to 1970, he also worked as a bankruptcy receiver at the Court of Turin from 1962 to 1979.
In 1962 he founded Studio Palea (ranked #1 in the N-O of Italy in 2020 and 2021, with over 100 people) now Andersen Tax & Legal.
Former President and now a member of the Scientific Committee of the Centre for Studies on Federalism (advisor to the Draghi government on European policy), he was a student and collaborator of Altiero Spinelli since the 1960s, and has always dealt with European Union, climate warming and environment issues.
