{"id":7559,"date":"2020-04-29T14:29:41","date_gmt":"2020-04-29T12:29:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/it.andersen.com\/new-protocol-for-safety-in-the-workplace\/"},"modified":"2020-06-26T15:18:04","modified_gmt":"2020-06-26T13:18:04","slug":"new-protocol-for-safety-in-the-workplace","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/it.andersen.com\/en\/new-protocol-for-safety-in-the-workplace\/","title":{"rendered":"New protocol for safety in the workplace"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">On 24 April 2020, the &#8220;Shared <a href=\"https:\/\/it.andersen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/circular-Andersen-6.2020_Protocol-workplaces.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Protocol <\/a>to regulate measures to counter and contain the spread of the Covid-19 virus in the workplace&#8221;, signed on 14 March 2020 , was amended.\u00a0 The purpose of the document is to<b> ensure the continuation of production activities by protecting workers with adequate protective measures<\/b>. If the Protocol is not respected there is a risk that the productive activity will be suspended until safety conditions are restored. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The main measures adopted by the Protocol are the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Obligation to provide information<\/b><br \/>\nThe company, through the most appropriate means, must<b> inform all workers and anyone entering the company about the safety provisions adopted <\/b>by the Government.<br \/>\n<b>Special information documents <\/b>must be delivered or posted at the entrance and in the most visible places in the company premises. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Access modalities of employees<\/b><br \/>\nPersonnel may be subjected to <b>body temperature control<\/b> before entering the workplace. If the body temperature exceeds 37.5\u00b0, access to the workplace will not be permitted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>The access modalities of external suppliers<\/b><br \/>\nThe access, transit and exit of external suppliers shall take place <b>with predefined methods, routes and timing<\/b> in order to reduce the opportunities for contact with staff.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Cleaning and sanitization in the company<\/b><br \/>\nThe company must ensure the <b>daily cleaning<\/b> and <b>periodic sanitization <\/b>of premises, environments, workstations and common areas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Personal hygiene precautions <\/b><br \/>\nIt is mandatory to take all recommended hygiene precautions, in particular, <b>wash your hands frequently<\/b> with soap and water.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Personal protective equipment<\/b><br \/>\nThe adoption of the hygiene measures and personal protective equipment indicated in the Protocol (such as masks and gloves) is essential. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>The use and management of common areas<br \/>\nAccess<\/b> to the common areas &#8211; including company canteens, smoking areas and changing rooms &#8211;<b> is restricted and for a limited time<\/b>, with a safety distance of 1 metre between people.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Company organization (management of work shifts, travel and smart working, re-plan of production levels)<\/b><br \/>\nAccording to the Prime Ministerial Decree of 11 March 2020, point 7, limited to the period of the Covid-19 emergency, companies will be able to<b> re-plan production levels.<br \/>\n<\/b>In addition, it will be possible to ensure a s<b>cheduling of employee shifts <\/b> in order to reduce contacts as much as possible and to create autonomous, distinct and recognisable groups.<br \/>\n<b>Smart working<\/b> must be used for all those activities that can be carried out at home or remotely.<br \/>\n<b>National and international travel\/work trips are suspended<\/b> and cancelled, even if already agreed or organised.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Employee entry and exit management<\/b><br \/>\nIt is preferable to provide for <b>different times of entry\/exit <\/b>of employees i in order to avoid as much as possible contacts in common areas (entrances, changing rooms, canteen).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Internal transfers, meetings, internal events and training<br \/>\n<\/b>Movement within the company site must be limited to the minimum necessary and <b>meetings with several people are not permitted<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Management of a symptomatic person in the company<\/b><br \/>\nIf a worker has a fever and symptoms of respiratory infection such as coughing, he or she must <b>immediately notify the personnel office,<\/b> which must proceed with his or her isolation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">More details in the attached circular.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 24 April 2020, the &#8220;Shared Protocol to regulate measures to counter and contain the spread of the Covid-19 virus in the workplace&#8221;, signed on 14 March 2020 , was amended.\u00a0 The purpose of the document is to ensure the continuation of production activities by protecting workers with adequate protective measures.
