{"id":7483,"date":"2020-03-20T09:53:14","date_gmt":"2020-03-20T08:53:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/it.andersen.com\/cura-italia-decree-emergency-fund-for-entertainment-cinema-and-audiovisual\/"},"modified":"2020-06-26T11:59:23","modified_gmt":"2020-06-26T09:59:23","slug":"cura-italia-decree-emergency-fund-for-entertainment-cinema-and-audiovisual","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/it.andersen.com\/en\/cura-italia-decree-emergency-fund-for-entertainment-cinema-and-audiovisual\/","title":{"rendered":"Cura Italia Decree: Emergency fund for entertainment, cinema and audiovisual"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>entertainment, cinema and audiovisual sectors are certainly among those most affected<\/strong> by the health emergency and the consequent measures to contain Covid-19.<\/p>\n<p>For this reason, the Cura Italia Decree-Law in Title V, introduced, with art. 89, important measures to support the above-mentioned sectors, establishing the <strong>Emergency Fund for entertainment, cinema and audiovisual, for a total of \u20ac130 million for the year 2020<\/strong>. The Fund is divided into two &#8220;subfunds&#8221;: the first of \u20ac80 million, for the current part, and the second of \u20ac50 million, for capital assistance.<\/p>\n<p>For the <strong>distribution and allocation of resources<\/strong> to the beneficiary operators &#8211; including artists, authors, performers and performers &#8211; please refer to the specific MIBACT decree, to be adopted within thirty days from the date of entry into force of the law converting the Cura Italia decree.<\/p>\n<p>These initiatives are flanked by <strong>other extraordinary measures for tourism and culture<\/strong> (other than the Emergency Fund for Entertainment and Cinema provided for by the aforementioned art. 89):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>EXTRAORDINARY INDEMNITIES FOR TOURISM AND CULTURE WORKERS<\/strong><br \/>\nFor workers in the tourism, culture, entertainment, cinema and audiovisual sectors, including workers without social security benefits.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PROTECTIONS AND SOCIAL SHOCK ABSORBERS<\/strong><br \/>\nExtension of social shock absorbers also to seasonal workers in tourism and entertainment and interventions in favour of authors, artists, performers and agents.<\/li>\n<li><strong>SUPPORT FOR CULTURE, ENTERTAINMENT AND TOURISM BUSINESSES<\/strong><br \/>\nSuspension of withholding payments, and a series of contributions and insurance premiums.<\/li>\n<li><strong>RELAUNCH OF THE IMAGE OF ITALY IN THE WORLD<\/strong><br \/>\nRealization of an extraordinary campaign to promote Italy in the world, also with tourist and cultural purposes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>VOUCHERS FOR CINEMA, THEATRES, MUSEUMS AND CONCERTS TICKETS<\/strong><br \/>\nRefunds with vouchers already provided for cancelled travel and package tours for the Covid-19 emergency are extended to tickets for shows, cinemas, theatres, museums and other cultural venues.<\/li>\n<li><strong>VOUCHERS ALSO FOR HOTELS<\/strong><br \/>\nReimbursements with vouchers already provided for trips and cancelled tourist packages for the health emergency also include accommodation contracts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>More details in the attached circular.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The entertainment, cinema and audiovisual sectors are certainly among those most affected by the health emergency and the consequent measures to contain Covid-19.
