Valentina is an expert in civil litigation, banking law and family law.
In the extrajudicial field, she works on restructuring, bankruptcy and banking law, contracts, and legal assistance and advice to businesses, financial institutes and common funds. In judicial matters, she deals with civil litigation, banking litigation (in particular: factoring, derivative contracts, matters of usury, anatocismo, transparency), bankruptcy (in particular: bankruptcy claw backs) and arbitration.
She was a member of research groups financed by the University of Milan – Bicocca on the themes of: movement of goods and inheritance laws; civil debtor over indebtedness; contract of professional work; the right to an equal remedy between compensation for damage and indemnity; punitive interests for the delay of commercial transactions; protection of credit in the reform of company law; financial intermediaries’ contractual and extra-contractual liability; the new regulation of direct compensation regarding insurance matters; the valorization of debt due to compensation of damage; and critic aspects of negotiation of financial derivatives.
Since 2007, she has taught various legal subjects in the Master’s Degree Program of Law at the Department of Law of Università degli Studi di Milano – Bicocca: Civil Law, Inheritance Law and Family Law. Valentina regularly publishes scientific books and articles and judgment notes on technical newspapers. She is a speaker at many conferences on the subjects of bankruptcy and banking law.
