Mario Gozzetti has over 25 years of professional experience in Financial Advisory Services, i.e. M&A, IPOs, Forensic Accounting and Business Plans, supporting clients such as Private Equity Funds, multinationals and domestic companies in M&A activities, due diligence, IPOs and Expert Witness in litigation and arbitration related to valuation and accounting issues.
In the last 7 years he has held executive roles in Private Equity backed Industrial Groups, mainly in projects to improve Total Shareholder Return through cost reduction, continuous improvement, optimisation of working capital, invested capital and quality of earnings. He has also teamed with a leading strategic consulting firm in their TURN and Transformation practice area.
Previously, he was a Partner in another International accounting Firm where, among other roles, he was the national head of the IPOs Service Line, head of the UK Desk, the Area Contact for Impairment Tests as well as Functional Risk Leader of the ‘Financial Advisory Services’ practice.
He is Visiting Professor in Methodologies and Quantitative Determinations of Companies (IAS-based Valuations) at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, in Milan and has been a member of the Capital Market Working Group of the FEE in Brussels (European of Federation Accountants), now Accountancy Europe, and member of the Capital Market Research Group of Assirevi.
