Gilberto Cavagna is a lawyer specialized in the exploitation and protection of intellectual property rights, with extensive experience in legal counseling and assistance of Italian and foreign clients in this field and, in particular relating to trademarks, domain names, design, know-how, copyright, art and heritage law, advertising, media and sport law.
He regularly assists companies and individuals in the fields of fashion, art, sport, design, creativity, and publishing, for the negotiation of agreements concerning their intellectual property assets and the relevant defense.
Former member of the Authority for the protection of industrial property rights during Expo Milano 2015, Gilberto has been selected from the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Crafts, and Agriculture of Milan, Pavia, Torin and Genua as an expert on intellectual property.
He is also member of AIPPI – International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property and of ALAI – Association littéeraire et artistique internationale.
Founder and author of «TIP TAP Thoughts on Intellectual Property and Art Protection» blog, Gilberto is author of several monographs and he regularly writes in newspapers, magazines and newsletters on intellectual property and art matters.
Beside his professional activities, Gilberto is a lecturer at IED (Istituto Europeo di Design), at Sole 24 Ore Business School, at Euroconference, Legal&Business School, and in several master courses, in which he regularly holds conferences, workshops and seminars.
